Published 27 Jan, 2020 Last week, Psyonix revealed they're going to stop supporting Rocket League on Mac and Linux, ending the ability to use any of the online functions on those platforms. They explained that it was 'no longer viable' to support Mac and Linux as they continued to upgrade the game with 'new technologies'. This sound effect can be found on The General Series 6000 Sound Effects Library, which was made by Sound Ideas. An identical copy of it, FIREWORKS - FIREWORKS BEING SET OFF, can be found on The Mix I Broadcast Music Library. It is the same sound as FIREWORKS - SEQUENCE OF FIREWORKS, SPUTTERING, EXPLOSION, which comes after the one done here and FIREWORKS - WHISTLING, SCREAMING, SIZZLING.

The Macintosh game market was slightly improved with the arrival of Mac OS X and its newly found stability. It finally had substantial growth with the controversial architectural change from PowerPC to Intel, but it's still lacking. Now that the App Store has proven that gaming can be Apple's forte, they soon realised that maybe you can make money off these newfangled video game thingies.
In 2012, Mac OS X was rebranded to just OS X. Annoyingly, Apple changed the short-hand name again to simply be macOS in 2016, changing their version naming convention from big cats to places in California.
